The Health Edit brings together GPs, nutritional therapists, psychotherapists and wellbeing coaches for a day of honest, practical conversations about health. From women's health and mental health to nutrition and recovery, our speakers share real expertise — no hype, no quick fixes, just advice worth listening to.
Alice E. Belton is a real food advocate, educator, baker and community founder who has spent more than a decade exploring what happens when we reconnect with food.
She is the founder of Olinda Community Gardens and Belton Bakes, and creator of The Real Rise, an eight-week programme helping people move beyond food rules and conflicting advice to build knowledge, trust and confidence in the way they eat.
Her work spans growing, baking, fermentation, nutrition and community, but at its heart is a bigger question: what becomes possible when food is rooted in connection, abundance and pleasure rather than fear and restriction?
Alice brings curiosity, humour and a refreshingly human approach to conversations about food, health and how we live.
I'm Jo, I'm a psychotherapist with 18 years' experience in the NHS and private practice.
I help people understand and change the patterns fuelling their anxiety, low mood and burnout. I love this quote from Carl Jung: "Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate." I think this speaks to exactly what I try to do with clients: we need to understand why we keep getting stuck in the same patterns — and build the capacity for something different.
Emma is the Director of Core Wellbeing and a Sports Therapist with nearly 15 years' experience.
Through both her professional career and her own experiences with injury, she has developed a real passion for helping people recover, prevent future problems and feel stronger in their bodies.
She is also proud to be part of the UNLTD Fitness team and is really looking forward to attending The Health Edit, where she'll have the opportunity to share her knowledge and connect with others who are equally passionate about health and wellbeing.
Sarah Coan is a Nutritional Therapist with a specialist interest in fertility, and a passion for helping people understand how the foods we eat and the lifestyle choices we make can support long-term health, vitality and brain wellbeing.
Joanne Hill is a Registered Nutritional Therapist and founder of award-winning Amaranth Wellbeing.
With over 15 years' experience in nutrition, supplements and holistic health, Joanne is passionate about cutting through the science hype and making the science accessible.
Combining clinical expertise with extensive industry knowledge, she shares practical, evidence-based advice on nutrition, women's health, healthy ageing, skin health and supplements, helping people make informed choices about their health and wellbeing.
Dr Claire Milton is a GP in Skelmersdale with over 20 years of clinical experience.
Her area of expertise is women's health and she is a British Menopause Society registered menopause specialist and trainer.
She established an innovative NHS menopause service serving the wider West Lancashire region. She is passionate about investigating root causes of suboptimal health, keeping the principles of lifestyle medicine central to her consultations.
Amit Sharma is an experienced GP who specialises in the avoidance and treatment of long term health problems, primarily using lifestyle modification and coaching.
He is a certified lifestyle medicine physician and health coach, using these skills in his day-to-day NHS practice and lifestyle medicine clinics.
His key aim is to help his patients find enjoyable, sustainable and powerfully effective methods to prevent the hardship which inevitably accompanies chronic illness.
